Age-Friendly Columbus Year-End Meeting

The City of Columbus and the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) announce a the year-end meeting of Age-Friendly Columbus. The accomplishments, milestones, and next steps will be discussed.

 

Columbus City Councilmembers, members of the Age-Friendly Columbus Advisory Council and various subcommittees, and older adult residents will be attending. This large group will meet at Carrie’s Café, a congregate dining center of LifeCare Alliance, for an overview of the preliminary survey responses and results. In addition, participants will discuss future focus groups, the releasing of the Age-Friendly Columbus Findings Report in January 2017, and the 2017 Strategic Planning schedule.

 

“In our first year, we have accomplished a lot together and I continue to be amazed by the collaborative work involved with this important initiative,” said Councilmember Michael Stinziano, the Chair of the Age-Friendly Columbus Advisory Council. “We are committed to ensuring that Columbus is an even better place for older residents to live and play.”
